facebook users spend 3 days a year on the site
The average person who used Facebook in each of the last 12 months has spent 70 hours 26 minutes on the site during that period, according to a spokesman from Nielsen Online, the company which conducted the research. They also calculated that the most addicted users have spent over 125 hours on the site during the last year – the equivalent of more than a whole working week.

Sebuah hasil penelitian terhadap pengguna Facebook di Inggris menyebutkan bahwa rata2 mereka menghabiskan 70 jam atau hampir sekitar 3 hari dalam setahunnya memelototi situs jejaring sosial paling populer tersebut. Kalau saya tidak salah hitung, itu berarti per harinya hanya sekitar 11.5 menit. Hmm, pengguna di Indonesia mungkin lebih dari itu ya?....
Dalam penelitian ini disebutkan juga bahwa YouTube menduduki peringkat kedua sebagai situs yang paling sering ditongkrongi oleh pengguna. Lalu ada Farmville (sebuah game untuk jejaring sosial) dan Wikipedia masing2 di peringkat ketiga dan keempat.
